Rock Doc

On May 27, 1984, one of the greatest concerts in Michigan history happened at Timber Ridge Ski Area near Kalamazoo - The American Rock Festival.  It featured Ratt, Accept, Night Ranger, Quiet Riot, Motley Crue, Ozzy, and Triumph. There were around 50,000 there, soaking in the sun and rock!  It has been talked about for many years.  I have had people ask me about it many times.  I was not there.  I was serving in the Air Force in California at the time.  After a chat with the owner of Timber Ridge, I thought it might be a good idea to video tape an interview with him and hear some of the stories from that festival.  Turns out there was much more to talk about than I thought.  I did some research, and started talking with other people and found many more stories.  We gathered as much information as we could, found some video and photos, talked with some of the band members, and put together a short rock documentary.  Thanks to all who contributed to this project.  Rock on!
