Scotty Bud Sounds
Here are some lost audio files from
my home studio. I'm still blowing the dust off of some old tapes, keep checking
back for more.

Scotty Bud's Monkey
This prank call is from around
1994, when you could still make prank calls on the radio and not get sued or
busted by the FCC. I called a pet shop in Detroit that advertised the world's
smallest monkey in the newspaper. This one is one of my all-time
favorites, and it was not scripted.

Jason Newsted
Gull Lake's own Jason Newsted joined Metallica in 1986. My friend
Mike Pryson was a writer at the Kalamazoo Gazette at the time, and scored an
early interview with Jason. He talks about his old band Flotsam and
Jetsam, CliffBurton's death, and how it all happened. This is 6 minutes of the
45 minute interview from December 24, 1986.

Cecil Fielder
Here's Cecil at the '91 Detroit Tiger Media Tour when I tell him I have to walk
to Tiger Stadium because he didn't win AL MVP in '90. Boy is he fired
up...

Sparky Anderson
Here's my quick interview with Sparky at the '91 Tiger Media Tour before I
walked to Tiger Stadium. He's tired and can't find his glasses.

Imus Rant
This was my final word on the Don Imus firing in April 2007.
The New 92.5 WZUU
Here's what it sounded like when the new 92.5 WZUU signed on the air in
January 2007. I was honored to be at the microphone.

Bobby Vinton Anthem
One of my favorite National Anthem screw-ups. This one is from the 1990
World Series at Pittsburgh.

Kalamazoo
A song by The Eighth Grade, which is on the movie soundtrack for the movie
"Kalamazoo?".
Sepia
Glare
A great song by local band Pound & Beers. This song didn't make it to the
Kalamazoo movie soundtrack, but I lobbied for it hard.

High School Radio
These are some of the tapes from my high school radio days at Portage Northern
High School. Enjoy a good laugh.

Medieval - Old School
Cool song from a couple of guys I
went to high school with. Their band is called
Medieval.

Riot - Swords and Tequila
Only the greatest metal song of all time by Riot.
